We’re forcing rhubarb, which means depriving it of light. We’ve covered half of this patch of rhubarb to see how it works.
Rhubarb is such a hardy plant, that when deprived of light, the rhubarb plant starts making more sugar and reaching upwards trying to find light. That means longer, sweeter and more tender stalks. We’ll add some photos of our results.
